ABOUT THE CREATOR
Rob Alderton has spent most of his working life in musical theatre. He won a county music scholarship aged 11 and followed that with a Performing Arts degree, studying all aspects of musical theatre.
Rob has musically directed countless regional / amateur productions and worked extensively in the professional field, including Les Misérables (Palace Theatre & Queens Theatre, London), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (UK Tour), Evita (UK Tour) and Avenue Q (UK Tour) plus countless professional theatre shows, pantomimes, and recording a number of ‘click tracks’ for Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group.
As a member of the band Sailor, Rob toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe. His skills as a pianist have led him to play with many stars from Sir Cliff Richard to Freddie Starr.
Fast Food was conceived in 2002 and saw its first production at the Wycombe Swan Theatre in 2005. Since then the musical has been through 15 drafts and finely tuned until Rob now feels the show is ready for commercial release.
When not engaged in music, Rob owns and runs ChittyHire (ChittyHire.com), specializing in hiring cars and props from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
